Pellion Technologies

        Focuses: develop inexpensive high-energy-density rechargeable magnesium-ion batteries that will disrupt current energy storage technologies in applications from portable electronics to electrified vehicles. Synthesis, characterization, and optimization of new high-energy cathode materials are to drive rapid innovation of energy storage technology.

  • Research Scientist: 2010.10 – 2020.10

       Los Alamos National Laboratory

        Focuses: US DOE lithium batteries projects to develop novel electrode materials and solid-state electrolytes based on anti-perovskite crystal structures for lithium batteries. Research activities including material design, fabrication, and functional optimization and tests of new lithium battery systems.

  • Postdoctoral researcher: 2007.8 - 2010.9

        University of Texas at Austin (Supervisor: Prof. John. B. Goodenough)

        Focuses: BATT Projects to develop the new electrode materials for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries based on Li-ion insertion reactions. Research activities including material synthesis and characterization, surface modifications, electrochemical performance improvement, battery cell assembly and optimization.
