Synthesis, characterization, and optimization of new high-energy cathode materials are to drive rapid innovation of energy storage technology.
Focuses: US DOE lithium batteries projects to develop novel electrode materials and solid-state electrolytes based on anti-perovskite crystal structures for lithium batteries. Research activities including material design, fabrication, and functional optimization and tests of new lithium battery systems.
