Dr. Bo SONG, born in 1984, is engaged in the filed of additive manufacturing, thermal spraying, advanced metal alloy and coatings. The work focuses on selective laser melting (SLM) of 3D components directly from powders, including the realization in situ of different alloys and composites by laser forming, as well as the mastery of different spray methods for fabricating advanced coatings, etc. Until 2014, he has published more than 30 English academic papers (SCI), and was the professional reviewer in several international academic journals. Dr. Bo SONG has also participated in many industrial projects in France and the good customer evaluation could demonstrate his ability to complete the research projects. In the November 2014, he was successfully obtained a position of associate professor in Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST, China).
