The Center for New Energy Materials and Devices in Huazhong University of Science and Technology is mainly engaged in the research fields of new energy materials and devices, including lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, electrocatalysts, lithium-sulfur batteries, lithium-air batteries, sodium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, etc. CNEMD has undertaken more than 100 national-level projects including the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars, Major Project of National Science Foundation of China, 973 Program and 863 Program. CNEMD has established a multidisciplinary and multi-level research team led by well-known professors. There are currently 11 professors, 6 associate professors, 1 associate research fellow and 1 lecturer.
