A computational materials scientist in the department of materials science, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interest includes the theoretical study of the electronic and transport properties of nanodevices; structural, energetic, physical and chemical properties of novel nanostructures as well as the exploration of their applications in energy storage and catalysis. He also extends his study on fabrications and simulations on the quantum-dot light-emitting diodes for display and lighting. His research covers multiscale simulations by molecule dynamics, first principles and kinetic Monte Carlo on those materials and devices. He has published more than 90 papers on prestigious journals such as Nature Commun., Adv. Energy Mater., Chem. Mater. etc.
